Single-Shot, Postcards, and YouTube
What is a single-shot? What about postcards and YouTube? Back in the first half of 2019, the LD20 PCs voted to adopt a single-shot strategy so that we can improve our chances to get one Democrat in the legislature. Statistically speaking, if we have only one candidate for the House, all of the votes will go to our one candidate. What this means is that we need to educate our LD20 Democrat voters to essentially put their second house vote, “in their pocket” and not cast it. Our postcard program will explain the single-shot with very simple language and will be sent to all LD20 Democrats where we don’t have a phone number for them – that’s a lot of voters and a lot of postcards! See the Volunteer section if you can assist with postcards.
In addition to the postcard program, we will be airing a series of YouTube videos incorporating the same message and theme from the postcard as an additional way to send the message home. Sign-up for our YouTube channel at “Arizona LD20Democrats” as we promote more content. Share the message with your friends. We’ve got this LD20!
